Excerpt not working in v2.0.0

    The update to v2.0.0 is not taking the default excerpt. We had to revert to 1.9.6 in order for the excerpt to display correctly. This is for code:

    post->excerpt

    After verifying it twice, I can confirm that it’s functioning properly. If there’s an excerpt available on your post, it will be loaded, otherwise, I’ll extract it from the content. This is working on both Depicter v 1.9.6 and v 2.0.4, which is the most recent version. If you have any additional information to share, please do so we can check it on your condition as well

    Apologies for posting incorrect info. The excerpt is working but we are using the filter to change the max number of words in a post excerpt. v1 was taking this ‘excerpt_length’ filter, but v2 doesn’t apply this filter.?
