Excerpt on Small Screens: bug on latest version

I am using Design 3 and I have ticked the option to show the “Excerpt on Small Screens” on the HomePage. After downloading the latest version – 0.9.86.2 – the excerpt is showing TWICE on screens larger than a mobile phone. It would be great if this issue can be fixed as it wasn’t a problem in the previous versions. Also, it would be great if target=”_blank” can be added for Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ in “design-3/elements/social-icons.php” as I have been updating these myself everytime there’s a new version which can get annoying.
