Excerpt shows below featured image, instead of on top

When I first installed Content View it worked flawlessly! Then I made a few changes to the display settings and next time I refreshed the page, the excerpt had moved below the featured image, instead of layering on top. I tried everything to revert this, even deleted and re-installed the plugin, but could never get the settings to return to normal.
