Excerpt with AI gone when using other SEO plugins

It’s possible that the AI-powered excerpt feature might be overlapping with the SEO plugins.

First, make sure Jetpack Blocks are enabled to ensure Jetpack’s AI features are active. You can check this by following?this support guide.

Then, try disabling the SEO plugins temporarily to see if the AI excerpt reappears. You can use a plugin like this to simulate a clean WordPress session with only Jetpack enabled: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/.

When I disable Rank math or Yoast it appears again it seems its just when those SEO plugins are enabled

In my testing, the AI excerpt works when I have both RankMath and Yoast installed.

Solution found is to add the following to the function.php file:

add_post_type_support('page', 'excerpt');

add_post_type_support('post', 'excerpt');
