excerpt_class not working

    what is not working?
    Is the excerpt class displayed (as in ... class="lcp_excerpt" ... somewhere in the page)?

    You can see it here, at the bottom of the page, my excerpts are in a box that is a dark grey background. I’m trying to make the text color of the excerpts white

    The reason is that you have a styling block at the end of your header (<style id="op_header_css" type="text/css">...</style>). In it, the list items of the content area are targeted (#content_area li) and the font color is set to a dark grey (#444).

    You have to determine why this styling block is here, who put it there (or which plugin), and then how to 1) move it, 2) restrict its targets or 3) add another styling block specifically for your purpose.
