excerpt_length doesn't seem to work on monthly range

Please post the full shortcode so I can check the parameters, it seems incomplete.

Just tested and it works for me. Which version of the plugin are you using now? Also, are you using a caching plugin?

Alright, according to this tool there are 200 characters here:

(That’s excluding the “…” characters at the end).

Is this not the expected output?

It’s the monthly output that is the issue. See the section that begins with “From the last 30 days…”

Ah, I understand now. It seems that some excerpts are not properly truncated due to some HTML tags present on the content.
