    How do I make a page show excerpts (with or without read more buttons) instead of full stories?

    I read older posts and it said to change a code word regarding content and excerpt. This doesn’t help me because I don’t see where this code is. Newbie here. Please talk to me like I am 5 years old ?? Thank you in advance!
