• Ever since setting this plugin up the auto-generated experts on social media sites from links on our site have the latest testimonial authors name as the hyperlink. I seem to have fixed it on Facebook(not sure how) but on G+ if I add a link to a story on our site, we get the link with the hyper linked text as one of the “testimonial authors”.

I can’t find anyway to change this. Plus on Google plus you can’t edit your auto-generated link.

I’m not really up to speed with this kind of social media integration but this sounds more likely to be a wp issue. There’s nothing specific in the plugin that would cause third party sites to specifically use a testimonial title for inbound links.

Sorry I can’t really be of more help here.

…. thinking about this some more … I lied ??

There is something in the plugin that might affect this. We use Google Structured Data in the markup which I’m guessing makes the content prioritised.

Obviously a post should carry more weight than a widget in the sidebar but this will ultimately be down to the theme. I’d suggest checking your theme markup to make sure the single post template uses the appropriate rich snippets. You can read more about this here.
