Excerpts in Spruceup Theme

    Can any one tell me how to fix excerpts in the spruceup theme?

    The theme displays the hole post and not excerpts? It’s probably been hard coded that way my PHP isn’t to hot, so I’m not sure how to work the <?php the_excerpt(); ?> Function?

    Tried the Fancy Excerpt plugin but no joy there either?
