excerpts not showing for some posts

    Excerpts are there for some posts but not for others. I checked and compared the post settings but can’t figure out what is causing the problem.
    Any suggestion is much appreciated.
    I can give you an admin access if you email me to the address at the bottom of the linked page.

    Please check whether the option ‘Ignore post content as excerpt source?’ is activated, and if yes, deactivate it. If activated, the excerpts are created only by the excerpt fields.

    Thank you for your response, Martin. No, the option is not activated. As I stated, excerpts do appear for some posts. I am not using excerpts fields in any posts, neither.

    Thank you for your trust. I took a look at the widget’s settings. I did not detect any wrong values. I did not see any special property of the posts. I have to guess that something interferes, e.g. a site builder. Sorry, I can not help you at this time.
