Excerpts not showing up as summaries only url links

Hello, I recently migrated my podcast website from wp.com to wp.org and am using Seriously Simple Podcasting plug for my podcast but am experiencing numerous issues. The first one is that I can get my new media episodes on iTunes but the excerpts fail to show (I write an episode summary in the excerpts when I post every time) instead a url link for the episode shows up where the summary should be. Can anyone help me with this?

According to your newer thread there is an issue with your feed. I am unable to access your feed URL.
