Excerpts on event list

I am very sorry – I forgot to ask another question:
I have your calendar widget on my page. When I click on an active date, it directs me to the event page for that day (just showing the title) which is not too bad – but it shows the archive widget below that title. How do i get rid of it, please?

I think I managed to solve the Archive problem, but I would be grateful if you could help with the excerpts.
Also I have just noticed that my event shows only the start time but not the end time. How can I implement it?

I think I am confused with the fact that Event Organiser has its own page template but because I don’t know how to edit it, I had to use my own page template with the shortcode for [eco-events].
