Excerpts overriding custom pin image

Hello, I’m running the pro version if that matters and running into an issue where my pinterest image+description is set on a post, but the pinterest browser extension is pulling the description from OG meta instead of the custom pinterest description for my main pinterest image. The OG meta is getting populated by my excerpt.

I can override the excerpt from filling the OG meta by adding a description to “social media description”, but really would rather prefer the pinterest image pulled the description from the custom pin description for the pinterest image.

This only happens in the browser extension, the share button bar works good.

Any idea how to remove excerpts as data source?
