Excerpts strip out non alphabetical characters

    When the excerpt on the page doesn’t exist and it generates the content, the app strips out all characters including commas, apostrophes (except A-Z) on the front end.

    Ex:

    • Original – The equipment’s been installed, staff have been trained, and we’ve introduced a faster checkout/check-in process at Hawaii’s public libraries!
    • Stripped – The equipments been installed staff have been trained and weve introduced a faster checkoutcheckin process at Hawaiis public libraries?

    Can this be fixed?

    • WordPress 6.5.3
    • PHP 8.2.10 and PHP 7.4.30
