Excerpts with thumnails generator

    I’m looking for some plugin to create excerpts similar to the ones in this Blog:

    The posts are well organized and the images are all the same size, that’s what I’m looking for.

    I want to shorten the content with a “read more” link and put the image as a thumbnail in the left side, so all posts would look the same.

    The plugins I’ve been trying to generate automatic excerpts, the image sometimes appear, sometimes don’t, posts look disorganized.

    Any ideas?
