Excert length in Recent Post shortcode

    Hi
    I am having trouble with the Recent Post shortcode.
    Whatever the value that I use as word’s number, the excerpt length stays the same.
    Here is my code
    [recent_posts layout=”default” columns=”1″ number_posts=”1″ cat_slug=”” exclude_cats=”” thumbnail=”no” title=”yes” meta=”no” excerpt=”yes” excerpt_length=”60″ strip_html=”yes” animation_type=”0″ animation_direction=”down” animation_speed=”0.1″ class=”” id=””][/recent_posts]

    Is there anything wrong with it ?

    What “recent post” shortcode? That shortcode probably comes from your theme or a plugin.

    It shows in the visual editor and yes you are right, it looks like it comes with the theme I am using.
    I will contact it’s editor.
