• I’m doing a site test and I found Backupwordpress is one of the pluging that has an excesive rating of load in site. You can see this screenshot did with P3 plugin

    Have anyone the same issue?

This is not a negative review. The plugin is incredible and more if you use anyone of the extension.

My comment is only for help to improve it.

Are you able to disabled BackUpWordPress and do a screenshot of that same P3 page? And are you able to tell me what the total load time is with and without the plugin activated?

We’ve been slowly working on trying to fix this issue, but it’s been a tricky one for us as we don’t see the same effect on every host ?? The more information you can give me the better!

Hi KAt. Sorry for delay. Here you are.

What’s the total time for your site to load on the front end, if you ran something like Google Page Speed or Pingdom to test it? I’m trying to determine a couple things:

    – what caused you to notice the slowdown, or what did you notice on your end that made you look at the P3 plugin to investigate further?
    – Is your total load time too high overall?
    – since our plugin shouldn’t be running on the front end of the site, I’d be curious if there were other indications that there are queries loading from our plugin outside of the backup admin page?

We have limited notes on improving admin slowdown issues, especially since we tested most of the issues we already knew of and integrated those within previous updates. So any further info you can help us with will help us in seeing if we can improve the plugin’s efficiency further.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for being helpful in getting us further information and answers.

    Kat
