    I have added the short code to my home page. It seems to have code for comments under the showcase that is leaving a large padding at bottom. Also, I can’t style the background color. Can you help with these issues?

  • Hi, @celestial-petals,
    Did you post the shortcode properly? Sometimes there are issues with the shortcode. In Gutenberg, you should use the shortcode block to get the desired result. Our plugin does not have any comment section. I have just made one and it is working perfectly. Please share us a screenshot of the showcase page so we can understand what is wrong with it. Thanks a lot.

    Hello, thank you for the reply. I used the wp text widget and added the sortcode: [wccs_showcase id=’1370′]

    It is still showing some kind of text area box in gray at the top and bottom also, still has a large padding or space beneath the plugin area. emailmystic.com

    Hi @celestial-petals,
    Thank you for sharing the details with us. I have visited your site and found that enclosing pre tags are creating the problem. Remove the enclosing pre tags to get rid of this problem. Switch your editor from visual to text and remove them. This should be your final output.

    Thank you for getting back to me. However, I am using a page builder so I am inserting your plugin via shortcode. I did remove the pre tags in text editor and I had the same problem. I then did a work-around by trying to fix it in CSS customizer area with:

    .sektion-wrapper *, .sektion-wrapper ::after, .sektion-wrapper ::before {

        box-sizing: border-box;
        border: 1px solid #fff0;
        background-color: #fff0;

    }

    Any other customizations have to be added in to the CSS with this like background color etc.

    Is there another way to make the shortcode work? I am afraid it wont be the answer if I want to use the shortcode on another page.

    @celestial-petals,
    You do not actually need custom CSS to fix this and it appears that there is still a problem with space. It would be best if we could get temporary access to your dashboard. Please connect with us from our site. Thank you.

    I don’t trust anyone that wants access to my dashboard. The biggest red flag of wordpress plugins. There should be no reason to access my dashboard to fix the problem.
    The problem arises when using the shortcode.

    @celestial-petals,
    Sorry that we have offended you. We have tried your page builder and it does not have any option to add shortcodes. Just paste the shortcode in the WordPress editor section in your page builder. Then paste the shortcode in the “Text” mode of the editor. Let us know if this works for you. Otherwise, we will try with custom CSS. Thank you.

    So you are saying it’s not you, it’s my page builder? Ok, I will get with them and get an answer, then I will get back with you if that is not the case.

    @celestial-petals,
    The problem is with the shortcode. Our plugin works fine and I have shown you the output earlier. You can always get back to us. We are always ready to help you. Thanks a lot.
