excessive hits from jetmon

Hi, having similar issue as here (same ip address too):

I have two separate sites with Jetpack install using the same hosting provider. But only one of them is getting excessive hits, for example:

From Feb 10 to 14 2021 one the one site:

– 2751 hits from 192.0.102.40 – jetmon/1.0 (Jetpack Site Uptime Monitor by WordPress.com)
– 2047 hits from 192.0.91.177 – jetmon/1.0 (Jetpack Site Uptime Monitor by WordPress.com)

And no hits from JetPack on the other site in the same time frame. So why such excessive hits on one site and not the other, and how to stop this?
