Excited About My New Site

Wow, after about three months of work we have finally done it (well it is never finished, but we have made a sizable dent). https://www.galaxyreptiles.com is up and running. It is not just the reptiles for sale that we are excited about, it the theme, function, look and feel. Though we are proud of the reptiles, amphibians and arachnids (got to work in a plug)

We had a little bit of custom work done in it. This wootheme project is a multicontinent effort. My business partner and chief designer is n Pakistan, the graphics work comes form Sri Lanka and the guy who who unjams us when nobody can figure it our is in Vietnam.

WE worked for custom checkout that resembled the big onliners (don;t want to mention any names but its a river in South American). We wanted to control the upsell experience and limit movement once the checkout process began. With that was the decision to remove the slider. Though very beautiful, it was a hinderence to the shopping experience. We don’t have the all products coded with upsell and crossell so to see it in action select the first two feature products; the horny toad lizard, and the baby ball python.
