exclamation points in between my title post words.

  • for some strange reason exclamation points are showing up in between my words in my title post. i’ve cleared the entire title, rewritten it and updated but still showing the same thing. all the posts BEFORE i had a guided transfer to www.ads-software.com are fine. it was only once i created a new post for the first time after the transfer.

    also – any chance someone knows what code and where i would put it if i wanted to hide my “tags” that show at the bottom of my posts?

    i’m using the twenty twelve theme. i don’t have a “child theme” attached as i’m still very confused by all that.

    i have not. are you suggesting that i deactivate all my plug ins and then reactivate them right away? what would be the reason for the plug ins causing that?

    Disable all plugins
    Re-activate each plugin one-by-one.
    Check for the exclamation points after activating each plugin.

    That way you’ll be able to identify if a plugin is adding those unwanted exclamations.

    What do you mean didn’t work? Can you elaborate what happened when you disabled ALL plugins?

    sorry for not elaborating more.

    i disabled ALL plug ins – and other than removing some widgets i had set up, nothing else happened that i could tell.

    i activated each plug in one at a time, seeing if anything would change after each, and nothing.
