Exclude a category

I use WP ULike and love its features, its look and its flexibility! Thanks for it.

Is it possible to filter out ULike buttons on all posts of a given category? The only solution I can see would be to use the manual approach and put the [wp_ulike] code in all posts except those of the excluded category. Is there a more efficient way?
