Exclude Breadcrumb Navigation

    Hoping you can help with this. I have also asked the plugin developers for the plugin this relates to, but feel it is more likely you will reply. This is the plugin in question: Breadcrumb

    How can I prevent breadcrumbs from appearing in search results? This is what I am getting searching for ‘online course’ on my site:

    Summer (page title)
    …Home ? Search: online course ? Course Schedule There are…. Excerpt continues as usual…

    Are you perhaps using the shortcode to display the breadcrumb? That could explain why the breadcrumbs are appearing in the excerpts. In that case, a solution would be to move the breadcrumbs from within posts to templates.

    Thanks, I will look into that. I am using the shortcode but if the template option would work better with search I’ll try that route.
