Exclude by Term not working

    I can’t seem to get exclude by term working. I’m trying to exclude by a category “News,” then use the widget again in the Featured Bottom sidebar for just the News category. In the widget where I’m trying to exclude the News category, I selected “All Taxonomies and Terms,” then in the exclude by Terms field I typed in News. Nevertheless, my posts in the News category still show up. Am I doing something wrong? (temporarily, I’m excluding by ID, after implementing the fix to widget.php mentioned in another thread).     Please try selecting all categories and let me know if that works. I’ve changed the logic for this a bit as there were some differences in WP 3.0 and 3.1/3.2
