Exclude categories from view on certain pages

    I’m trying to setup a news section that doesn’t show certain categories in the right sidebar and in the main area.

    Here is a “for instance”, I have these:

    – Category 1
    – Category 2
    – Category 3
    – Category 4
    – Category 5

    When I go to the “blog” I want these to show up:

    – Category 1
    – Category 2
    – Category 3

    When I go to “news” I want these to show up:

    – Category 4
    – Category 5

  • You could use custom menus, and then code a different page template for “blog” and “news” that uses a different custom menu for each.
