Exclude categories Id

    I have created page and post categories but how can I find category ID ? To exclude some categories.

    Go to wordpress admin section

    in left menu post => categories section
    see you post categories ,which category id not not that category edit link click then see address bar url like taxonomy=category&tag_ID=NO … this no is your Category id

    like wp-admin/term.php?taxonomy=category&tag_ID=16&post_type=post

    above link category id 16
