Exclude categories not working?

    I’m testing this plugin, seems quite good, but I ran into a problem: the option to dxclude categories does not seem to work, all categories are visible in the form.
    Also auto-assign categories does not work.

    I’m sorry I can’t provide a link to the page I need help with, as it is on a members-only site.

    Thank you for writing to us. We just checked on our development server but couldn’t replicate the issue. Can you please share us the video of your issue so that we could understand it better or replicate it same way in our development server?

    Hi, thanks for responding.
    In the meantime I have been busy updating the site (that I took over from someone else), and removed about 20 plugins, some of them quite obsolete. Somehow, that resolved the issue: when I tried to replicate the problem, the form worked well.
