Exclude Category From RSS (supplementary question!)

    This is potentially a silly question, and I apologize if it is!

    I am just about to edit the feed url to exclude a newly created category using /feed/?cat=-5

    Will this category be excluded from the feed sent to those who have already subscribed? i.e. before I made this change.

    Also when I come to put some posts in this new category, some of the entries for cat 5 may need to have their publish dates set to several weeks ago. Can anyone foresee any problems with this and the feed?

    As I say, if this is a dumb question; sorry. Placate me, pat me on the head and send me on my way!
