Exclude Category & Post type from search

  • Hi there,

    I’m trying to exclude the “page” post type from the search and un-categorised (could be any category). essentially I might be missing something in your documentation about excluding things from the search filter. Whilst I’ve read through it and have also gone through the settings panel I haven’t been able to locate this option.

    If you could assist that’d be greatly appreciated!

  • I’m trying to exclude a category from the dropdown of the categories, is it like similar to your case?

    Hi I did and didn’t really figure this out. Essentially you only add the data items you want to the shortcode, anything you leave out won’t be added to the search filter.
