    Hi,

I am aware that there is an issue with Instagram links being indicated as broken, while they are not broken, and that this issue cannot be solved.

I therefore wonder if it is possible to except certain links to be checked / indicated as broken? That way the Instagram links on my clients and my own website will not be shown with a line through them.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Sunny greetings,

    Hi @margrietburorader

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

You can set exclusions “by word” on “Settings -> Link Checker” page -> “Which Links To Check” tab. There’s an “Exclusion list” box where you can add e.g. “instagram” and URLs containing this word won’t be checked.

Additionally/alternatively if your main concern here is that these links are striked-out on front-end (but it doesn’t bother you much that they are reported as broken in back-end) you can simply disable this option.

On “Settings -> Link Checker” page in “General” tab there’s a “Link tweaks” option and if you disable checkbox for “Apply custom formatting to broken links” it will no longer show a line across these links on site (note: if there’s cache on site/server, you may need to purge it to see the change).

    Best regards,
    Adam
