Exclude custom post types

    This linked page is just an example of the custom post type.

    We have a custom post type called “Religion News Press Release Services” that is not showing up in the post types options in the settings page. We don’t want the press releases posting to our apple news feed.

    What’s the best way for me to handle this? Forgive me if it has been answered, I wasn’t able to find it in the forums but please direct me there if it exists.

    * Note: we want to set up auto-posting so simply not hitting the button isn’t going to fully solve our problem.

    Hi @natalie_feibish,

    By default, the plugin looks for post types where both public and show_ui are true, so likely one of those is false for your press release custom post type. Bottom line – since it is not in the list, you do not need to worry about it. No posts within that post type will publish to Apple News even with automatic publishing enabled.
