    Hello,
is there an (htaccess) way to exclude a specific directory from being served by jetpack images CDN acceleration? But that would not interfere with the rest of site, where the plugin does an excellent job.

Currently, we do not have a way to exclude specific directories from the CDN.

Would you mind explaining what the problem is? Perhaps we have another solution.

    Sure.
I have a very specific case of a plugin causing the problem.
The plugin is a forum system that lets user upload their little avatar pic. It’s such a case where the image is deleted, reuploaded but with a fixed name: the username. So each time the use change its avatar picture, it gets reloaded with same name. And each time it’s the original image served by the CDN.

Excluding this directory would have been a solution.

Ah yeah, that is not currently possible. Perhaps there’s an option in the forum plugin to have the image name change?

Unfortunately not, i’ll try to see with them.
I suggest you implement a feature to recognize htaccess or any other form of in page tags so we can exclude some directories.

Anyway, the service you provide is really great, a game changer.
