Exclude dropdown first value for validation

    Hello,

    is it possible to consider the first value of a dropdown as a placeholder so that the user must select something else from the dropdown to validate it?
    Something like:
    “Please select a value…”
    In the validation process this should be considered not a valid choiche.
    That would be a great feature to avoid the user to bypass this selection and go ahead with the first value as a default.

    Thank you very much for using our plugin.

    Yes, that’s possible. Please configure the Dropdown field as follows:

    Enter the “Please select a value…” text as the first choice’s text, but leave the choice’s value empty.

    Tick the “Required” checkbox in the field’s settings.
