• What’s the best way to exclude this plugin from caching all together?

We run fastestcache so have a few options to exclude things.

    Hey gavpedz,

If you set the “check for new tweets every” setting to 0 minutes it should cause the cache to be ignored. You would also want to disable persistent caching although you would not be able to show tweets from a hashtag feed that were older than 7 days.

Sorry I should have been more clear. I am using fastest cache a caching plugin so need to exclude your plugin from being cached.

    Hey again gavpedz,

Ahh I see. Usually the page caching gets in the way of the feed updating. Typically users will exclude the page with the feed on it from being cached as a workaround for this. Would that be possible?

Not really as it is in the sidebar sitewide. I am using fastest cache so have the option to exclude files as well as pages

I suppose you could exclude the custom-twitter-feeds.php file to prevent the plugin from being cached if that’s how it works. I wonder if the file excluding applies to JS/CSS files. I’d have to dig into it myself to see if that’s the case.
