    Hi,

i am trying to exclude the page generated by Age Gate from the cache in the Lite Speed plugin.

I know that i can use the javascript setting in the plugin to make age gate work but it currently give me problem with iPhone and iPad device. When i disable the cache and leave the plugin by default everything is working fine.

The Lite Speed plugin have an ESI setting that i can use to exclude certain page. I don’t know how i can make your plugin work with it.

From what i understand, the Lite Speed exclusion work with the widget settings. Here is their documentations

Could you help me making it work ?

    Thank.

It seems it can also be done with a short code

    Hi @cyberphilqc,

It’s not possible to exclude the age gate page as it doesn’t technically exist. When the page loads, if it needs the age check it shows a different template but the key is it is still the same page, so it will be cached accordingly. Excluding that would effectively exclude the whole site.

So, what issue are you having on your iOS devices, perhaps I can help there and get you running on the JS version.

    Thanks
    Phil

    Hi Phil,

    thank you for your answer.

With the precision that you give me, I understand that i need to set the plugin to JS to make it work with the cache plugin.

The problem on ios devices is that when the javascript should prompt on the page it doesn’t show. When i rotate the device, it display properly the age gate page.

Can you help me with this ?

    Thanks.

    Hi @cyberphilqc,

I can have a look for you, do you have a link?

Might also be worth having a look at this thread and trying the last bit of CSS in there as it sounds like it could be a similar issue.

    Thanks
    Phil
