Exclude Images Suddenly Not Working Properly

  • Initially, the Exclude Images function was working well, but over the last week or so, I noticed that no matter what URL I exclude, I end up with a shrunk down version of the opening image when I hit the Pin buttons. This is happening across my website. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’ve tried to see if there were any theme or plugin conflicts, but the result is always the same. What could the problem be?     Hi catswillplay,
    Please describe your issue in detail we don’t know which images you have excluded.
    It may be possible that the image URL is not Exclude properly check your image URL once.
    Also, send me the screenshot of the excluded image.
    Also, check with another theme if it conflicts with the theme then let me know we will fix as well.

    Hi,
    Thank you for helping with this, and I’m sorry for the delay with my response.

    Here’s what’s happening:

    I copy the image url (in this example, the cat in the bathtub).

    I refresh the page, and the Pin button DOES disappear from the image. All good there.

    Next, I hit the Pinterest Share button on the left side of the page.

    And this is where the problem begins. When the “Choose a Pin to Save” page comes up, the excluded image (in this case, the cat in the bathtub) comes up in the options.

    It never did this before, and I would really prefer that it didn’t. This is happening across my website, and I’d like to completely exclude these images as some of them require attributions; I’d hate for them to be accidentally Pinned without giving proper credit.

    I have tried different themes, tested for plugin conflicts, and I still have issues. I’d fix it myself, but I’m not entirely sure what’s happening. I would so appreciate some guidance on what I’m doing wrong so that I can fix it.

    Hi catswillplay,

    The excluding option is working fine with the plugin. I have checked.

    Please add the actual image url of your want to exclude in your site.
    Just like you want to exclude this image: https://www.catswillplay.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Cleaning-Up-Kitty-Cat-Grooming-Supplies-for-at-Home-Use-893×1024.jpg

    So You can add in the exclude option save the change.

    I think it will work.
