    Hi,

I would like to know if it would be possible to exclude internal traffic from the statistics or from a special ip address so as not to follow my traffic.

    Greeting
    Yannick

    Hi Yannick,

If by internal traffic you mean logged in users, then we have an option to disable tracking per user role. This is accomplished with an mu-plugin. If that’s what you want let me know and I’ll share how you can set that up.

As for now we don’t have an IP blocklist. However this is submitted as a feature request.

We will add a IP blocklist in the near future. I can’t tell exactly when though.

Hope this somewhat helped and let me know if you’d like to exclude users by their role.

    Kind regards,
    Hessel

What is a mu-plugin? How can I get it? I also do not want to track admin visits. Thanks.

    Hi @perties,

An mu-plugin stands for Must-Use plugin. An mu-plugin can be placed in a folder in the wp-content called ‘mu-plugins’ which is a collection of files which are activated by default and cannot be deactivated in your WordPress dashboard. You can add or change functionality with an mu-plugin just like you can with a child theme or a custom plugin. You can read more about mu-plugins over here.

Admin visits are already excluded from tracking. If you’d like to exclude more user roles from tracking you can by following this article.

If you need help or something doesn’t work, feel free to open your own support request.

    Kind regards,
    Hessel

    Thanks a lot
