Exclude own views of a post

Hello.

Thank you for the great plugin!

I would like to exclude the views of post that can be caused by authors, especially if they click preview link.

I spend whole day to make this work but did not succeed. I think someone had this question above and he got a working code in this forum https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/102637/count-the-number-of-views-of-a-post-excluding-own-views but did not work for me.

I would highly appreciate your help.
