    Hello,

I have archive page custom for posts and for custom post type . I want to prevent the indexing of pages like this :

    websiteurl.com/custom-post-type-slug/page/3/

so that /page/2 , /page/3 do not appear on indexing .

I am using this plugin for SEO . If you need more details don’t hesitate to ask me .

    Thanks in advance .

    Hello!

TSF has the option to exclude indexing for all paginated archive pages at “SEO Settings > Robots Meta Settings > General.”

That said, we disabled it by default because webpages with “noindex” on them stop being considered for internal linking, while archives are excellent at creating internal links (don’t rely on the sitemap!).

Archive pages often don’t rank well because they make for bad landing pages, so having their paginated versions indexed won’t matter too much. That only eats from your crawling budget; in exchange, you get internal links.

Nevertheless, if you need to disable indexing for paginated pages only for the custom post type archive, let me know, and I can write you a PHP snippet.

    Hello!

Looks like the option ‘Apply?noindex?to every second or later archive page?’ does not work with Yuki Blogger Theme. Robots are still indexing archive pages.

    Best Regards.
