Exclude Posts

It would be a great feature to be able to exclude specific post ids from being displayed. In my case, I want all but 4 of a custom post type to show up and I don’t want to list them all out by which post ids I do want to show and also then have to update that list each time I add a new post. A simple exclude these post ids would be very helpful.
