    Hi Guys,

Is it possible to add a checkbox in the search widget that says include or exclude properties that are sold, but still remain in the search results?

I go to properties > settings > developer
and I can add a field for this that displays as a check box.

But I’m not sure what to do next to hide/show sold properties.

I have a field in my custom fields that lists properties as: sold, under offer, on the market.

So I can apply mapping to those, but not sure on the next step?

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

    Hello.

    Can you clarify that?

Is that third party plugin? if yes, why you are not using native functionality?

Hi, I’m using wp all import to import a large XML file of properties daily to keep them up to date.

How do I do this toggle natively? I didn’t think it was possible to manipulate the search results like that?

Not sure how that set up on your site. But that could be set up via our attributes in Developer tab and also if you are importing properties, we have import tool as well – https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/product/wp-property-importer

Attributes? Can you point me in the direction of a tutorial, or how to use this?
    Thanks

Thanks, I’ve read that but still not sure what to do.

Is this correct? I add a new Property Attribute called “On the Market” then all properties that are listed as on the market have the check box ticked?

    I’m confused :/

when you add/import/update your property you need to fill that attribute with accurate data.

    Yes, that is done.

If I want to include the regular properties in the search as well as sold (via the check box) how do I do that?

Currently if I include the sold properties via the checkbox, it ONLY shows the sold properties.

you can change some logic and e.g use multi-checkbox attribute with values Sold and Active

Probably that can be also set up in a different way, need to include some imagination ??

Sorry, that makes no sense. Can you explain it with an actual answer? Thanks

There is no way to do that like you want. All properties won’t include Sold properties because the value for checkbox can be only true or false, and when it not true(not checked) then it false.

You can add e.g new property type Sold or create a new attribute with the name e.g Status.

    Regards.
