    Hi brianmcculloh,

    thanks for the great plugin.
I have an issue, that i can’t resolve.
My theme has custom post types and “Worth the Read” cannot detect them to exlude them from display the time and so on.

Not even with css is it possible to hide the generated text.
    Do you have an idea?

    Thanks in advance!

Is it not finding the custom post types for the progress slider, or just the time commitment label?

    Hi Brian,

    sorry for late reply.
This custom post type generates this simple HTML for example:

    <h2 class="title">
    						<a href="#" target="_blank"> 0 min LesezeitOriginal Text
    </a> </h2>

An the “0 min Lesezeit” is generated by your plugin. But only the “Original Text” should be displayed, if possible. I have no chance to get this not to be displayed by css or something. I think, this is because it is generated by your script.

In my opinion, it would help, to let the time commitment label display only by shortcode as an option in the settings. So the position can be hardcoded in the templates.

    Maybe you have another solution?

    Thanks in advance!

That is a great idea. I’m going to add a feature to the next theme update to select the time label to display only via the shortcode. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Hi brianmcculloh,

now the initial issue for this thread is over. ??
But i hope, you’ll soon implement an option for time commitment, which allows placement only via shortcode!

    That will be great!

    Thank you!

Actually you can do this. Just unselect the display on and custom post type options so it is not set to auto-display anywhere, then just use the shortcode and it will work.
