    Hi Team,

I enaled today caching on the plugin in order to reduce my Time To First Bytes Time (TTFB). It works because I passed from 1,7s to 180ms.

Despite i have a matter with two plugins i use which are important for me
-Wp Post Views (count the total views of articles)
-Meks time ago plugin (publishes the time of articles publishing ex: published 1h ago)

Their functions seem not compatible with caching.
-For post views: the number of wiews drastically decreased due to caching
-For meks time ago:if i published 1h ago, it does not display the correct timing

How to exclude these plugins from caching ? or, is there another solution ?

    Best Regards

    Yvan

  • Hi Yvan,

How to exclude these plugins from caching ?

This is not possible: For the caching to be useful, most of WordPress is bypassed, and so are the plugins.

    Is there another solution?

There are no easy solutions. In order to work, both those functionalities should be done using javascript (in the browser), instead of only when processing the page in WordPress, but that requires custom coding.

    Best regards,

    Marc.
