Hi @dikla, sorry for the very long delay. We didn’t have a good answer for you and discussed it with the team, but didn’t yet come to a good solution. This does seem like a pretty common request, but the fix will take a good amount of coding.

I did, however, just realize a pretty simple workaround:

    1. add tags to pages by installing and activating this plugin,
    2. Create a tag called something like “exclude”
    3. Add that tag to the pages you want to exclude
    4. then go to YARPP Admin page (from the WordPress admin dashboard, under “Settings” click “YARPP”) and under “The pool” check the tag “exclude” from “Disallow by tag”

    Does that make sense?

Thanks for your response and your help,
I added the tag ‘exclude’ as you said but I still see on the related page the pages that I want to exclude, here are screenshots:

What else we can do? I must help!

Hi thanks for the screenshots @dikla, sorry that didn’t work. I wonder if the problem is that adding that tag hasn’t triggered clearing YARPP’s cached results. One easy way to force clearing YARPP’s cached results is under “The Algorithm” by changing the “Match Threshold” (See screenshot) slightly (eg changing it from “4” to “4.1” or “3.9”). If you try that, do the pages with the tag “exclude” get properly excluded?

Hey guys. I’ve completed all the steps above but still have related posts appearing on my homepage. Any additional thoughts?

Hi again @careersanded, sorry I missed your most-recent reply.
It sounds like I may have misunderstood your request. You want YARPP’s related posts to NOT appear ON your homepage, right?
To prevent YARPP from adding related posts on a page, just add the HTML code <!--noyarpp--> anywhere in the page’s content. (If you’re using the Classic Editor, you would switch to the “Text” mode and paste that in; if you’re using Gutenberg Block Editor you’d add the HTML block anywhere in the page’s content and use that <!--noyarpp--> into it.)

You’d add the same thing to the contact page to prevent YARPP from showing related posts on that page too.

Does that do what you were hoping?
