Exclude the_excerpt from filter applied to the_content

  • I’m using a filter that is applied to the_content.
    Is there any way that i could subtract the_excerpt from being filtered?

    Basically, the filter hides the_content and i want to show a little portion of the content (i want a small portion to be un-hidden)
