At some point exclude tracking stopped working on my website, twincitiesgeek.com. I am seeing a bunch of back end pages pop up all the time in my GA where I didn’t used to. I am stumped as to why. Anybody else notice this or have a fix? I really don’t want admin users, or back end use, tracked…

  • Hi,

GADWP won’t track anything on the backend of your website (no matter the options selected). The tracking code is only inserted in frontend. Please check if there’s something else, maybe a theme or a plugin that inserts the tracking code on your admin pages and possibly duplicating the tracking code on frontend. For details see How to check If Google Analytics tracking works, it may help you identify the source of the code.
