Exclude User Profiles

    Is is possible to exclude any user profile pages on our site? Essentially any page following the string “/user/” I would like excluded and not indexed by search engines. We require users to register for a WordPress account when requesting to view certain content on our site – however, when you Google their name after they have registered their profile page appears in search results from our site. Some of our clients would not be happy about this.
