Exclude widget testimonials from sitemap and showing in Google

    FAQ 43. How do I exclude testimonial categories from my sitemap?

    Google is pulling back my testimonials from the widget and then when you click on the links in Google it states ‘not found’. I am guessing I need to do what it says in FAQ 43. however I can’t find any sitemap HMTL in my functions.php.

    Is anyone able to help? site is danburtdecorating.co.uk

    This widget is doing exactly the job I want it to except the bad listing in Google.

    Did you try FAQ 23 first?

    Next, the sitemap XML is generated by a plugin. You’ll need to configure that to remove testimonials from it if FAQ 23 doesn’t fix the URL linking issue.
