    Hi,

I have a WordPress site with a plugin called Booked, an online appointment booking program installed. This plugin creates WooCommerce products for tickets. If you go into the products tab and click on one of the ticket products, the ‘Product Data’ heading lists the product with a tick under ‘Virtual’ , ‘Downloadable’ and ‘Booked Appointment Service’.

The Yoast sitemap.xml lists an entry for products-sitemap.xml within which it lists the ticket products. These are not products as customers cannot buy them directly only through the Booked plugin.

Is there a way to exclude either the category ‘tickets’ or the products within this category from the products-sitemap.xml as otherwise a 404 not found error is generated which then results in errors in the Google Search console.

    Many thanks.

You can see some examples on https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/387

I think that “Booked” should create products which can’t be included in sitemap. I’m not sure how it works, but you can try to create an issue on their support forum.
