Excluded files and folders are ignored

    Hello, I get file change warnings, even though I’ve added the folder to the ignore list. For example, I added: wp-content/uploads/

    But I get warnings for

    wp-content/uploads/ip2location/caches/8ef788e059da17ce91a9797ebd2b7a63.json

    (And several hundreads others)

    Is this a bug or am I doing anything wrong?

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    You can’t exclude all of wp-content/uploads. You can exclude directories inside of wp-content/uploads like wp-content/uploads/2023, but this isn’t recommended. If the concern is about media files being scanned, you can update the Ignored File Types setting.
